Our flock of laying hens have been managed organically from day one. They are allowed to free range on our organically managed pastures, and forage to their hearts’ content. In the evening, our chickens put themselves to bed inside our ultra secure mobile chicken coop, where they have an abundance of roosting bars to perch on for the night, all-you-can-eat organic chicken feed, and fresh, clean water.

Our chickens not only provide eggs, they also do the hardest work on the farm, sanitation. Our chickens follow our sheep around the farm, acting as a cleanup crew, vacuuming up parasites, eating fly larvae, and depositing rich fertilizer wherever they go.

Pastured eggs contain more vitamins and minerals than conventionally produced eggs, with the added benefit of allowing the hens producing them to participate in the behaviors that come naturally to chickens. Our mixed flock allows us to offer colorful eggs without compromising on quality.
